I sat down in a car
Parked on the side of the street.
School had just gotten out, and I saw children
Walking home.
There was a large group of kids walking on one side of the road
And a singular girl walking on the other side of the road.
The two groups walked in unison, moving
Up the street in parallel.
The larger group of kids eventually split up and left each other
But the other girl stayed with herself.
